The Horse Creek Trail is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Horse Creek Lakes; Horse Creek Lakes is good enough to spend more than a day at, Yellow Pine Campground is a good local campground. One of the principal characteristics of the surroundings of Horse Creek Lakes is Dirty Mountain; you'll       meet a lot of people from Laramie here. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Laramie Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Alvie Number One Reservoir, and close by you stumble on the Pole Mountain Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail.
