There are splendid spots to look at along the Bear Gulch Trail; if you're here, you could visit Big Goose Creek. Holly Ponds is mostly a relatively dried out site; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Since you're here at Holly Ponds why not go to Cemetery Draw, and since you're here, you could also explore charming Sheridan Heights Reservoir. Be careful coming to Holly Ponds, you might not

| | ever want to return back home again. Camping at Hunter Trailhead - Bighorn National Forest is always a splendid experience, and a good nearby hotel is Rodeway Inn & Suites Sheridan.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Cabin Creek Trailer Campground - Bighorn National Forest is a perfect location to do that, and don't leave Holly Ponds without first going for a hike along the Stockwell Trail. During your spree to Holly Ponds you'll meet some people | |

from Sheridan for sure, and going for a hike on the Story Penrose Trail is always a magnificent adventure. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Antelope Butte since you're here.
All through the warm months at
Holly Ponds temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows through the winter for Holly Ponds tend to be in the 0's.
Best Western Sheridan Center is a nice location to get some rest, and Hume Ponds is a nearby lake that you could visit. There's some interesting stuff to distinguish at Sheridan Heights Dam in the vicinity of Holly Ponds, and near Holly Ponds you hit upon a golf course called Sheridan Country Club.
