    If you are in this part of Wyoming make sure to pay a visit to Hogan Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Hogan Reservoir, you can go for a hike along the Custer National Forest Trail; dry warm beds await you at The Cody. Hogan Reservoir gets very little precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Yeah, come here to Hogan Reservoir for a great time. Get wet paddling on Clarks  
   Fork Yellowstone River, and Dead Indian Campground is a good local campground.
Getting to Newmeyer Creek from Hogan Reservoir is trouble-free, and Yellowstone Valley Inn is a great campground nearby. An exciting thing to visit close to Hogan Reservoir is Luce Dam, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Shoshone River. Having a splendid time in the Absaroka Range is easy. Going for a hike along the Morrison Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of
 
               this neighborhood, and if you need a place to stay Cody Cowboy Village is a pleasant choice.
At Hogan Reservoir through the summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Hogan Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range.
