This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the summer months at Highline Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's; the night is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Highline Reservoir drop into the 10's. Highline       Reservoir is not the only location nearby, Grieve Reservoir is a nearby lake, and the Bears Ears Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful, you acquire a perfect panorama of Horse Mountain from Highline Reservoir, obviously you could also visit Lower Cogdill Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. What a site this is for outdoors folks. There's good hiking along the Green Ridge Trail; if you came for an                  overnight stay Little Sandstone Campground is a good place to camp. Highline Reservoir is pretty waterless usually; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest. There's some flowing water nearby, Fly Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay; if you need a location to stay Elk Run Inn is a pleasant choice.
