Wyoming has many beautiful lakes and Hidden Lake is one of them. Having a tremendous time at Hidden Lake is easy. There's so much to do here at Hidden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Longhorn RV & Motel is a glorious place for that, and if the weather is delightful, you get a great vista of Middle Mountain from Hidden Lake. Around Hidden Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June; February meanwhile is the driest

| | month. All year is a great time in the Wind River Range if you go for the outdoors. Wind River is a nice whitewater spot in close proximity to Hidden Lake; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. So many amusing things to do here in the Wind River Range, too magnificent to be true. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Ross Lake, and if you came to camp Circle Up Camper | |

Court Shop is a fine site to do that. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wind River - East Fork, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Ross Lake Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Whiskey Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hidden Lake is located in the Wind River Range. This
is a brilliant area for people who like lakes. Lake Louise is a lake around here; close by you stumble on the C M Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. High temperatures at Hidden Lake through the months of summer are in the
80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Hidden Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.

Ross Lake Trail
 | In four days four of us caught 13 fish over 20 inches and 27 fish overall, none of which were less than 14 inches. Campsites are plentiful and established. Great views of other mountain lakes beautiful sunsets and sunrises. The trail is very nice and well marked the entire way. All the climbing is worth every minute once you see the lake....Ross Lake wasn't worth the trip. Horrible fishing and rough trail. I'd recommend other destinations over Ross Lake. Lots of the forest in the area has burned and is not very scenic.... |
