Many people like to go to Heron Pond. There's so much to do here at Heron Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lizard Creek Campground is a great site for that, and Colter Bay Village is a good location to get some rest. Through the days of summer at Heron Pond temperatures are commonly in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Heron Pond dipping down into the-10's

The Arizona Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and you should explore Colter Bay when you're here. Lots of
folks from Jackson come to Heron Pond. Get covered with water paddling on Snake River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Heron Pond; Hermitage Point Trail is a splendid local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Grand Teton National Park is a national park worth stopping at, and the snow is fine at Jackson Hole.
