This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. Throughout the summer months at Her Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, ordinarily in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Her Lake. Just can't get enough of Her Lake. Good hiking is available along the Solitude Trail, and if       you're looking for some flowing water? Try Pass Creek. Her Lake gets very little precipitation; April is the month that gets the most snow, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clear Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Sourdough Campground is a great place to camp. That right there is loads of exciting things already but it goes on, the Bighorn Mountains                  has it all. Go for a hike on the Angeline Trail, and why not camp at Circle Park Campground while you're here at Her Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Her Lake is Powder River - North Fork; while you're here, you could also take a look at beautiful Brown Bear Lake. Rodeway Inn Buffalo is a great place to get some rest, also South Fork Pond Dam is worth visiting if you're here. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Bighorn Mountains.
