Hemler Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Black Hills. Hemler Reservoir is a location that is relatively dehydrated ordinarily; June is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hemler Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Mountain View Campground, and there's splendid hiking along the Lanning       Trail. Some close by water includes Cow Creek. There's so much to do here at Hemler Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Lodge Campground is a great place for that. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the area next to Hemler Reservoir has to offer. Dean Spring is always fun to check out, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Rauth Trail. Summertime highs at Hemler Reservoir usually tend to be in the 80's.                  Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hemler Reservoir dip into the 0's. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more fun stuff to do in the Black Hills. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Sundance Mountain Inn, and do pay a visit to Devils Tower National Monument if you're here at Hemler Reservoir. Just can't get enough of the Black Hills.
