Hemler Reservoir gets very little rain; during June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Summertime highs at Hemler Reservoir mostly tend to be in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Hemler Reservoir dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop       by Lake Cook near Hemler Reservoir, and Hemler Reservoir is right by the Lanning Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This place, the Black Hills, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. If you haven’t been to Devils Tower National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Rauth Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Hemler Reservoir. Hemler Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Black Hills. Take a hike on the Table Mountain Trail.
