If you need a site to stay Grand Targhee Ski And Summer Resort is a splendid choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Lizard Creek Campground is a glorious place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Jenny Lake Campground is a good campground nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Webb Canyon Trail. Just can't get enough of the Teton Range. Float down the rapids of Snake River in a kayak; nearby you come across the       Owl Creek Trail which is a great hiking trail. Not much rain falls here at Hechtman Lake; most of the rain falls during June; the driest month of the year is October. And if that's not enough there's a heap more amusing things to do in the Teton Range. Going for a hike on the Beula Lake Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Any time is a glorious time at Hechtman Lake if you go for the outdoors. Getting to Hechtman Creek from Hechtman Lake is painless,                  and the great people of Jackson like to hang out nearby. The warmest time of the year at Hechtman Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; the night is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Hechtman Lake. Hechtman Lake is a beautiful lake in the Teton Range.
