This lake is so wonderful. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! The Wind River Range is great! Heart Lake is not the only site close by, Trail Lake is a close by lake; Heart Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Upper Fremont Lake Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby.       This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Palmer Lake Trail is wonderful fun; a wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Pinedale Inn. Heart Lake is a beautiful lake in the Wind River Range. Stay the night at Trails End Campground, and a lake close by is Gottfried Lake. High temperatures at Heart Lake through the summer months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's,                  and nighttime lows in the 10's for Heart Lake. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Suites Pinedale is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, and soar down the rapids of Pole Creek in a kayak. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Some nearby water includes Cumberland Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, Boulder Creek offers some good whitewater. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Wind River Range has to offer.
