Heart Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Medicine Bow Mountains is great! You get a good view of Medicine Bow Peak from Heart Lake; a pretty lake like Hatchet Lake is a great site to visit. Near Heart Lake you stumble on the Lakes Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit North Platte River. This lake       is so wonderful. If you would like a little side visit, try Snowy Range Pass, and the landscape is dominated by the Snowy Range. This lake is so wonderful. The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a great site to get some rest; there's always First Enlargement of Wiant Dam to go to close to Heart Lake. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Going for a hike on the Medicine Bow Trail is always a perfect adventure, and if you came for an overnight stay Mirror                  Lake Campground is a pleasant place to camp. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Snowy Range since you're here; Lewis Lake Campground is a delightful local campground. Heart Lake is pretty arid usually; most of the rain falls all through May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Go for a hike on the Circle Trail, and lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Little Long Lake. All through the warmest time of the year here at Heart Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's.
