The beauty of Hauser Lake is reason enough to stop by. While you're here at Hauser Lake, you could also have a look at gorgeous Black Stone Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Lewis and Clark Trail. This lake is so wonderful. But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. Island Lake Campground is a great campground here; there's whitewater on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River for all you adrenaline junkies.

| | is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Red Lodge, and you must certainly dedicate some time to Sawtooth Meadows while you're here at Hauser Lake. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Hauser Lake has it all. If you came for an overnight stay Long Lake Campground is a great spot to camp, and the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Having a glorious time in the Absaroka Range is uncomplicated.
If you need a place to stay Cary Inn is a brilliant choice, and you can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. The amount of rainfall that falls at Hauser Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the
rain is June, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is located in the wonderful Absaroka Range.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Red Lodge Mountain since you're here, and Hauser Lake is right by the Beauty Lake Trail.
