If only every spot had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great planet it would be. The landscape around Hatchet Lake is dominated by the Snowy Range, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Circle Trail. Summer at Hatchet Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Hatchet       Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a wonderful spot to get some rest; since you're here you can take a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail. These mountains rock, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. If the weather is delightful, you acquire a glorious sight of Medicine Bow Peak from Hatchet Lake,                  and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Lakes Trail. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Mirror Lake Campground is a perfect location to camp, and Bellamy Lake is a fine lake nearby. Not much rainfall falls here at Hatchet Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. First Enlargement of Wiant Dam has good water scenery and it's close to Hatchet Lake; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Snowy Range.
