Summertime at Hardluck Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Hardluck Reservoir. Pass Creek Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and you can run the rapids of Powder River - Middle Fork. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Powder       River - North Fork, and a nice site to stop by is Martin Draw. This lake is so wonderful. It's a good idea to go to North Fork Pass Creek, it's close to Hardluck Reservoir, and Rodeway Inn Buffalo is a delightful place to get some rest. Near Hardluck Reservoir you come across the Cash Trail which is a great hiking trail, and you'll hit upon a pretty lake called Pass Creek Number 2 Reservoir.
