Be careful coming to Hardigan Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Hiking along the Arlington Pack Trail is tremendous fun; if you need a place to stay Fairfield Inn & Suites Laramie is a delightful choice. During your spree to Hardigan Lake you'll meet some folks from Laramie for sure. There's so much to do here at Hardigan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hidden Valley       Picnic - Medicine Bow National Forest is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is great at Snowy Range, and do take a hike on the Overland Trail. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Laramie River, and there are other spots here than Hardigan Lake, for example Porter Lake. Not much precipitation falls here at Hardigan Lake; July is the wettest month with most rain; February is when it's the driest. Stay the night at Lake                  Owen Campground. Rex Lake is a perfect lake in close proximity to Hardigan Lake, and on a delightful day you acquire a great vista of Table Mountain from Hardigan Lake. All through the warm days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Hardigan Lake. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's.
