Hanging Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Hanging Lake without first going for a hike along the Arlington Pack Trail, and it's a great idea to have a look at Gold Run Creek. Corner Mountain can be seen from Hanging Lake; you can run the rapids of Laramie River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Hanging Lake. All through the dark       hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hanging Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. So much amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just astonishing. Upper Nash Fork Campground is a brilliant campground nearby, and beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you acquire at Snowy Range. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Medicine                  Bow Mountains. Hanging Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Lewis Lake Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby, and Hanging Lake is not far at all from Laramie. Hanging Lake is pretty dried up mostly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Hanging Lake.
