If you came to camp Lewis Lake Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Snowy Range is reasonably near. Hanging Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Gold Run Creek is a delightful local stream, and       there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Arlington Pack Trail. There's so much to do here at Hanging Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a great location for that, and a lake close by is Barber Lake. Hanging Lake is frequently a relatively dried up site; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is frequently the driest month. The summit of Corner Mountain can be spotted from                  Hanging Lake, and going for a hike on the Lakes Trail is always a splendid adventure. So much cool stuff to do here at Hanging Lake, too magnificent to be true. Near Hanging Lake you discover the Circle Trail which is a good hiking trail; get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Laramie River. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Hanging Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Hanging Lake descend into the 10's. Having a magnificent time in the Medicine Bow Mountains is easy.
