This lake is so wonderful. A striking lake like Menardi and White Reservoir next to Hanes Reservoir is a wonderful place to take a look at, and there are tremendous sites to discover along the Stockwell Trail. Don't leave Hanes Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Penrose Park Trail, and Wagon Box Campground is a perfect campground nearby. Drift down the rapids of       Clear Creek in a kayak; getting to Hanes Fork from Hanes Reservoir is painless. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Hanes Reservoir has it all. Going for a hike on the Story Penrose Trail is always a delightful adventure, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Sheridan is a good site to spend a night or two. Around Hanes Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is mostly May, that's the one that rains the most                  while February is commonly the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek offers some nice whitewater; do pop by Menardi And White Reservoir, it's a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sheridan-Days Inn; Menardi and White Dam is not far at all from Hanes Reservoir. Here at Hanes Reservoir you'll perhaps meet some folks from Sheridan, and you can stay the night at Cabin Creek Trailer Campground - Bighorn National Forest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Hanes Reservoir. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
