Halfmoon Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summertime at Halfmoon Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 30's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and night lows in the-10's for Halfmoon Lake. Halfmoon Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest month of the year is usually January, that's the one that snows the most while July is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Whetstone Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and nearby Wallace Draw is a delightful place to go. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Halfmoon Lake. Looking for a pleasant trip? Grand Teton National Park is reasonably in close proximity to
Halfmoon Lake, and after a long day outdoors Colter Bay Village is a good site to spend a night or two. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ditch Creek.
