There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Shell Creek, and you can stay the night at Flagstaff Campground. At H G Reservoir through the summertime months highs are in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at H G Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await       you at Comfort Inn Worland, and the Bench Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. If you come at the right time of year, Paintrock Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. There's so much to do here at H G Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Springs Campground is a magnificent place for that.
