At Guild Reservoir you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. An out of the ordinary thing to stop at close to Guild Reservoir is Guild Dam, and why       not take a refreshing hike along the High Line Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're visiting Guild Reservoir from Evanston, you won't be the only one, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blacks Fork - West Fork.
