Gross Reservoir gets very little precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Summer at Gross Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Gross Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Day       Inn Torrington is a perfect place to get some rest, and some nearby water includes Pine Ridge Creek. Detention Reservoir Pine Ridge 1 is a nearby lake that you could stop at. If you get bored of Gross Reservoir, you could also visit close by Detention Reservoir Case Bier 1. There's so much to do here at Gross Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, K and K Kampground is a fine spot for that.
