At Grieve Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant place next to Grieve Reservoir is East Sweetwater Gulch; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Sandstone Divide Trail. At Grieve Reservoir throughout       the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Grieve Reservoir are in the 10's. Grieve Reservoir is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Little Sandstone Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and a lake close by is Lower Cogdill Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Reader Basin is a pretty location any time of year.                  You'll need more than a day to look at everything Grieve Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Battle Creek Campground, and you can take a little tour to Highline Dam since you're here at Grieve Reservoir. Highline Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Green Ridge Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the vicinity of Grieve Reservoir.
