And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do in the vicinity of Green River Lakes. Whitewater paddling is great on Boulder Creek, and Whiskey Grove Campground is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. The Narrows Campground is a great local campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Clear Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful.       After a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to the Wind River Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Clear Creek flows through this vicinity; Green River Lakes is right by the Lakeside Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Green River Lakes is not the only place close by, Bench Lake is a close by lake, and a cool spot to pop by is White Rock. That right there is loads of exciting                  stuff already but it goes on, the Wind River Range has it all. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River, and Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a perfect spot to get some rest. A short visit to Clear Creek Falls is always worthwhile, and do take a hike on the Slide Lake Trail. Green River Lakes gets very little rainfall; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month of the year is July. All through the warm days of summer here at Green River Lakes, high temperatures typically reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's.
