Green Lake is a lake worth visiting. The Teton Range scenery is always beautiful. At Green Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while Green Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Grand Teton National Park is one of the destinations right next door to Green Lake that are fine to go to, and dry warm beds await you at Teton

Yeah, come up here to the Teton Range for a glorious time. Why not camp at Jenny Lake Campground while you're here at Green Lake; on a beautiful day you get a splendid view of Crows Nest from Green Lake. Around Green Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during May this area sees the most rain; August is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. All the outdoors exciting things in the Teton Range will keep you coming back many times. Don't leave Green Lake without first going for a hike along the Green Mountain Trail, and Grand
Targhee Ski And Summer Resort is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the North Leigh Creek Trail, and at Green Lake you always meet someone from Jackson.
Go for a hike on the
Andy Stone Trail, and the snow is splendid at Jackson Hole. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. A pleasant site for whitewater paddling near Green Lake is Bitch Creek; South Leigh Lakes is a nearby lake that you could go to.
