Not much rain falls here at Green Lake; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is January. You can run the rapids of Greybull River in the neighborhood of Green Lake; on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Cougar Pass Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater       on Shoshone River - South Fork for all you thrill seekers, and a delightful place to camp here at Green Lake is Jack Creek Campground. Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do near Green Lake. From Green Lake you obtain a nice vista of Red Tops, and going for a hike on the Twilight Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Green Lake is a beautiful lake in the Absaroka Range. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Dubois; there is a good hiking trail nearby                  called the Frontier Creek Trail. High temperatures at Green Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Green Lake during the wintertime generally sink into the 10's. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range.
