For the period of the summertime highs here at Green Lake get into the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, generally in the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Green Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Longhorn RV & Motel is a perfect site to do that, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along       the Wiggins Fork Trail. A magnificent nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Dubois; you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Indian Point Trail. It is very waterless here at Green Lake commonly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wind River, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Boundary Trail. Not enough hours                  in a day to enjoy this spot. The Cody is a magnificent place to get some rest, and if you're here at Green Lake, checking out Indian Point is a must. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Absaroka Range has to offer. If you come at the right time of year, Wind River - East Fork offers some good whitewater, and nearby you stumble on good places like Bear Pass. Having a tremendous time in the Absaroka Range is trouble-free. There's so much to do here at Green Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Double Cabin Campground is a great site for that.
