The beauty of Grayling Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. Beartooth Lake Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and great hiking is available along the Clay Butte Trail. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range. Do set aside some time for Beartooth Plateau if you're here at Grayling Lake, and paddling on

This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm places, why not check out Beartooth Lake right next door to Grayling Lake, and glide down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak. Summertime highs at Grayling Lake generally tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 30's. try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Grayling Lake. If you're here at Grayling Lake, you could go to Little Bear Creek, and you can stay the night at Top Of The World Campground. And if that's not enough there's plenty
more exciting stuff to do in the Absaroka Range. You'll hit upon a scenic lake called Abandoned Lake near Grayling Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Yodeler Motel.
Head up to Red Lodge Mountain and strap some skis to your feet;
a pleasant vista of striking Beartooth Butte is available. Grayling Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly June, that's the one that rains the most while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
