And that's not all you can do here in the Wind River Range. Baptiste Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out; the peak of Dike Mountain can be seen from Grave Lake. During the warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Grave Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually       in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Grave Lake throughout the winter mostly drop into the 10's. Grave Lake is pretty dried out generally; most of the rain falls throughout May, and the driest of the months is December. Bull Lake Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and do check out Spearpoint Lake, it's a pretty lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Grave Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big Sandy Campground, and if                  the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Shadow Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Macon Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Pyramid Lake Trail. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. There's so much to do here at Grave Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dickinson Creek Campground is a brilliant location for that, and going for a hike along the Bears Ears Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
