On a great day at Granite Lake you can take a hike along the Roaring Fork Trail, and Super 8 Dubois is a good location to get some rest. Through the summer at Granite Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Granite Lake. It is very dehydrated here at Granite Lake usually; of all the months       in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Wind River Range. There is a perfect hiking trail close to Granite Lake called the Union Pass Trail. Lakes? Sure, Divide Lake is in the neighborhood, and a great site for whitewater paddling is Green River. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Granite Lake, too nice to be true. There's                  so much to do here at Granite Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rawhide Ranch is a good spot for that, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wind River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Granite Lake has to offer, you can camp at Circle Up Camper Court Shop, and there are other sites here than Granite Lake, for example Marion Lake. And if that's not enough there's heaps more enjoyable stuff to do in the Wind River Range. While you're here at Granite Lake you can take a hike along the Moon Lake Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn.
