This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Paddling on Wind River is so much fun; since you're here you can take a hike along the Moon Lake Trail. Union Lake is a perfect lake close to Granite Lake; Super 8 Motel - Dubois is a delightful location to get some rest. Through the warm days of summer at Granite Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop       down into the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Granite Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Granite Lake, for example Marion Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Pinedale Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Granite Lake. Green River has a splendid whitewater                  paddling spot close by, and on a wonderful day you can take a hike along the Roaring Fork Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Wind River Range has to offer. If you came for an overnight stay Rawhide Ranch is a wonderful site to camp. At Granite Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is June, and February on the other hand is the driest. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Wind River Range is great!
