This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. Not far from Granite Lake, you'll locate Clark Lake which is a delightful lake, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Dubois is a good place to spend a night or two. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Granite Lake. The warmest time of the year at Granite Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Highs all through

| | the winter are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Granite Lake descend into the 10's. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Boulder Creek, and hiking along the Slide Lake Trail is tremendous fun. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Lake Campground is a good site to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Teton National Park is a very perfect site to visit next to Granite Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great choice.
This lake is so wonderful. Granite Lake is right by the New Fork Trail, and there's whitewater on Green River for all you thrill seekers. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wind River Range. Since you might be in a lake
visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Bench Lake, and Squaretop Mountain is scenic and can be made out from here. A great place like Beaver Park here at Granite Lake is too great to miss; you can stay the night
at Trails End Campground. Granite Lake is regularly a quite dried out spot; most of the rain falls through June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Just can't get enough of the Wind River Range. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Clear Creek Trail, and a cool spot to explore is Granite Peak.
