Granite Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Absaroka Range. You're perhaps into lakes, Kidney Lake is one of those close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Upper Granite Loop Trail. Throughout the summertime months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Granite Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 30's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly

Granite Lake is a good location of common rain; through June this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. A spree to Park Rapids will fill your soul with nice feelings, and if you're here, you could stop by Lake Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Hunter Peak Campground is a glorious spot to
do that, and splendid skiing awaits you at Red Lodge Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Granite Lake. Granite Lake is right by the Copeland Lake Trail, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Clarks Fork Yellowstone
River.
You can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River right next door to Granite Lake. There's so much to do here at Granite Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Creek Campground is a fine site for that.
