If you are traveling by, why not stop by Granite Lake. Granite Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. Summertime highs at Granite Lake regularly tend to be in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. Bighorn Mountains is simple. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Edelman Trail, and a great place is Geneva Pass. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Granite Lake. Stay the night at Lake Geneva Campground,
and if you come at the right time of year, Tensleep Creek offers some great whitewater. Antelope Butte is a fine local ski area, and dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn. Granite Lake is right by the North High
Park Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Paintrock Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
