If you are traveling by, why not stop by Granite Lake. Granite Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. At Granite Lake you don’t see much rain; the month with most of the snow is April, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Granite Lake has to offer, you can camp at Coffeen Park Campground, and a stunning lake like Cliff Lake is a glorious spot to explore.

| | more fun stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Big Horn Ski is in the vicinity of Granite Lake, and the Cliff Lake Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at Granite Lake regularly tend to be in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 30's. Bighorn Mountains is simple. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Edelman Trail, and a great place is Geneva Pass.
No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Granite Lake. Stay the night at Lake Geneva Campground,
and if you come at the right time of year, Tensleep Creek offers some great whitewater. Antelope Butte is a fine local ski area, and dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn. Granite Lake is right by the North High
Park Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Paintrock Creek.
