During the warm months at Granger Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 60's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Granger Reservoir throughout the winter mostly fall into the 0's. And if that's not enough there's heaps more exciting stuff to do in the Bighorn       Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay East Fork Campground is a good place to camp, and a pleasant spree to Big Goose Park is a great way to spend an afternoon. Around Granger Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through April this area sees the most snow, and February on the other hand is the driest. Paddling on Tongue River is so much fun, and why not camp at Cross Creek Campground while you're here at Granger Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.                  If you need a spot to stay Alamo Motel Sheridan is a wonderful choice. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. Lakes? Sure, Big Horn Reservoir is around here; close by you find the Tepee Trail which is a good hiking trail. Go for a hike on the Bear Gulch Trail, and Antelope Butte is a very popular ski area nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Game Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and Martin Dam is beautiful. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Granger Reservoir. Getting to Antler Creek from Granger Reservoir is simple, and if you want to take a look at some out of the ordinary stuff, take a look at Finger Rock.
