Around Granger Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the snow is April while February is frequently the driest month. All year is a delightful time in the Bighorn Mountains if you like the outdoors. Big Goose Park is a great place here at Granger Reservoir, and a wonderful place to camp here at Granger Reservoir is Cross Creek Campground. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sheridan Center       is a great location to spend a night or two, and do stop by Colorado Colony Ditch Company Reservoir Number 6, it's a delightful lake. For the period of the warm months highs here at Granger Reservoir reach the 60's while night lows are generally in the 30's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Granger Reservoir. The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Wingate                  by Wyndham Sheridan WY is a fine spot to get some rest, and an interesting thing to have a look at in the vicinity of Granger Reservoir is Martin Dam. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Granger Reservoir has it all. Good hiking is available along the Tepee Trail; why not camp at East Fork Campground since you're here at Granger Reservoir. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in the Bighorn Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Granger Reservoir; Game Creek Trail is a tremendous local trail; hey, Gotta ski right? Antelope Butte is a wonderful place to do that. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Park Reservoir near Granger Reservoir, and why not take a little journey to Antler Creek if you're here. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tongue River. This lake is so wonderful.
