Don't leave Goose Lakes without first going for a hike along the Mallard Lake Trail. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great earth it would be. Some of the water nearby flows, like Fairy Creek; after a long day outdoors Gray Wolf Inn & Suites is a great spot to spend a night or two. Go for a hike on the Fairy Creek Trail, and       a short journey to Bath Spring is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Goose Lakes is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Madison Campground is a nice site to camp nearby; if you get bored of Goose Lakes you could also check out close by Feather Lake. Goose Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out; tremendous hiking is available along the Old Fountain Trail. If you're addicted to cool geologic features, try Midway Bluff, and places like                  Fountain Flats are brilliant to go to. Goose Lakes is pretty dried up typically; June is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Goose Lakes during the days of summer are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Goose Lakes dip into the 0's.
