The beauty of Goose Lake is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Teton National Park is a good site in the vicinity of Goose Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Heart Six Dude Ranch, and you can go for a hike on the Purdy Basin Trail. Goose Lake is located in the Wind River Range.
Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Granite

| | Creek, and camping is available at Red Hills Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Lava Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure; if you come at the right time of year, Gros Ventre River offers some magnificent whitewater. Just can't get enough of Goose Lake. Don't forget to take a great little spree to Burnt Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Upper Slide Lake.

falls here at Goose Lake; most of the snow falls during January, and the driest month is July. Don't leave Goose Lake without first going for a hike along the Clear Creek Trail, and a journey to Upper Slide revitalizes the soul. So
many cool things to do here in the Wind River Range, too splendid to be true. If you need a place to stay Colter Bay Village is a great choice; a glorious site to camp here at Goose Lake is Crystal Creek Campground.
The warmest
time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Goose Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Goose Lake.
