Colter Bay Village is a good location to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Gros Ventre River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Goose Lake. After a long day outdoors Jenny Lake Lodge is a delightful place to spend a night or two; Grand Teton National Park is a splendid local destination. This lake is so       wonderful. Burnt Creek is a stream that you may run into while here, and there's pleasant hiking along the Purdy Basin Trail. Camping is available at Red Hills Campground, and a lovely lake like Upper Slide Lake is a good location to check out. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful place to camp here at Goose Lake is Crystal Creek Campground; the Clear Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. There's whitewater on Granite Creek for all you adrenaline kick                  people; a pleasant tour to Upper Slide is a brilliant way to spend an afternoon. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Wind River Range has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Lava Creek Trail, and Dallas Lake is a fine lake nearby. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Goose Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Goose Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
