places here in the Wind River Range. Goodwin Lake is a location that is quite arid frequently; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's
great hiking along the Taggart Lake Trail, and tremendous hiking is available along the Beaver Creek Trail. This is a nice area for folks who like lakes. Turquoise Lake is a lake around here, and the summit of Jackson Peak can be
seen from Goodwin Lake. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Goodwin Lake. The skiing at Snow King is perfect, and there are some perfect whitewater spots on Gros Ventre River. Not enough hours in a day
to enjoy the Wind River Range. Stay the night at Gros Ventre Campground, and Spring Creek Ranch is a great spot to get some rest.

Gros Ventre Campground
Gros Ventre (pronunced GROW-VONT)Campground in Grand Teton National Park is not to be missed. Moose viewing is spectacular, as well as hearing wolves, coytoes, and the sounds the Bison make walking through the campground. Depending on your campsite, try to be close the the Gros Ventre River for Moose viewing, or try to go towards the town of Kelly, for the most magnificent views of the Teton Range....
Granite Creek
12 miles away Actually, the river is in the Gros Ventre range(pronounced Grow Vont). There is probably closer to 8 miles of boating for kayakers, or rafts at higher spring flows. The best section being below the confluence of Little Granite Creek....
Astoria Mineral Hot Springs
13 miles away is this the same astoria springs in hoback junction with the pool etc....
Jackson Hole
15 miles away What a drop compared to what I'm used to back home on the east coast, just goes on and on. I'll definetily be going back to Jackson Hole this year too, it's great....
Jenny Lake Campground
15 miles away We love Jenny Lake and want to camp their with our family and friends...4 kids, 4 adults. I am worried about not having reservations....is that a problem?...Jenny Lake Campground was awesome. The view was amazing. It was quite and secluded, the camp store is just a short walk from the camping sites. The lake is beautiful and quiet, no boats zipping around. We stayed at site #50, other sites that I would recommend are 45,46 and 47. These sites have the best view. The best thing was the FLUSH toilets. If you want a vacation away form all of the touristy things you should definitly stay at Jenny Lake. If you get there in the afternoon grab a site. You can always move the next day. It seemed like a lot of people only stayed 1 night....
