This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Bighorn Mountains has it all. Why not camp at Coffeen Park Campground since you're here at Lake Golden, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Cliff Lake Trail. If you would like a little side journey, try Edelman Pass, and do take a hike on the Edelman       Trail. What a location this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Lake Golden, you could also visit beautiful Devils Lake, and going for a hike along the North High Park Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Not much rainfall falls here at Lake Golden; April is when you get the most snow here; the driest month is February. Tensleep Creek has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby; camping is available at Lake Geneva Campground.                  This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn; lovely scenery and pleasant skiing is what you obtain at Big Horn Ski. Throughout the summer months at Lake Golden highs are regularly in the 60's with night lows in the 30's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lake Golden are in the 0's. Be careful coming to the Bighorn Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again.
