Rock Creek Knoll is clearly visible from Golden Lake. There's so much to do here at Golden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a tremendous location for that. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. Golden Lake is generally a pretty waterless place; the month of       May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. Don't leave Golden Lake without first going for a hike along the Lakes Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Snowy Range if you're here. Do go to North Twin Lakes close to Golden Lake, it's a striking lake, and you can stay the night at Deep Creek Campground. Yeah, come here to Golden Lake for a great time. There are perfect locations to look at                  along the Circle Trail, and a pretty lake like Grassy Lake is a great spot to explore. All through the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Golden Lake. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Golden Lake. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is plentiful here in the Medicine Bow Mountains.
