Why not camp at Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest if you're here at Goforth Reservoir,       and good water scenery is available at Columbus Dam close to Goforth Reservoir. Around Goforth Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
