The warmest time of the year at Glacier Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows at Glacier Lakes during the winter regularly descend into the 10's. Man, is there a heap of fun things to do in the vicinity of Glacier Lakes. Little Brooklyn Lake Dam is delightful and it's in the vicinity       of Glacier Lakes, and Glacier Lakes is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lewis Lake Campground is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. From Glacier Lakes you get a good view of Browns Peak, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Arrowhead Lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you need a place to stay The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a                  glorious choice. There's so much to do here at Glacier Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a great place for that. Glacier Lakes gets very little rain; through May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There is a good hiking trail near Glacier Lakes called the Lakes Trail; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend North Platte River. So many cool things in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just mind-blowing. On a great day at Glacier Lakes you can take a hike along the Circle Trail. Gotta ski! Snowy Range is a brilliant site to do that, and going for a hike on the Medicine Bow Trail is always a good adventure.
