Brooklyn Lake is nearby, and Snowy Range is a very popular ski area close at hand. Going for a hike along the Circle Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and you're most likely hooked on lakes, Snow Bank Lake is one of those nearby. If you want       a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. A nice site to camp here at Glacier Lakes is Lewis Lake Campground, and The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a fine site to get some rest. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. If the weather is splendid here at Glacier Lakes, you can go for a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail; brilliant water scenery is available at Little Brooklyn Lake Dam right next                  door to Glacier Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Glacier Lakes is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a fine local campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Lakes Trail. Here at Glacier Lakes you can make out Browns Peak, and you can run the rapids of North Platte River. Around Glacier Lakes you don’t get a lot of rain; most of the rain falls during May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. During the warmest time of the year here at Glacier Lakes, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Glacier Lakes.
