Glacier Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Stay the night at Scab Creek Campground, and if you fancy a little side trip, try North Fork Canyon. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Wind River Range. If you get bored of Glacier Lake, you could also go to close by Milky Lakes, and if you come at the right time of year, Bull Lake Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. While you're

| | here at Glacier Lake you can take a hike along the Hay Pass Trail. There's so much to do here at Glacier Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Boulder Campground is a good place for that.

Through the summer months highs here at Glacier Lake reach the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, ordinarily in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are typically
in the 30's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Glacier Lake tend to be in the 10's. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. The summit of Mount Victor can be seen from Glacier Lake; on a delightful
day you can take a hike along the Europe Canyon Trail. This place, the Wind River Range, has so much outdoors fun things. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn, and the Lake Isabella Trail is a great hiking trail close
by.
Glacier Lake is frequently a pretty dehydrated site; most of the rain falls all through June while February is generally the driest month.
