Get wet paddling on Boulder Creek, and unsurprisingly, this is a perfect vicinity for folks who like lakes, Edmond Lake is a lake nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Wind River Range. On a glorious day at Lake George you can take a hike along the Horseshoe Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Scab Creek Campground is a glorious location to camp. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind       River Range. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Wind River Range will keep you coming back again and again. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest. At Lake George you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. The Lake Ethel Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Lake George, and why not camp at Boulder Campground since you're here at Lake George.                  This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake George you hit upon the Ruff Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Barnes Lake. Summertime highs at Lake George frequently tend to be in the 70's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, usually in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Lake George tend to be in the-10's. You simply have to love Lake George.
