    Why not stop by Gem Lake if you're passing through these parts. Stay the night at Circle Park Campground, and there's some flowing water nearby, Elk Creek is a stream you can stop at while you're here. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood of Gem Lake called the Solitude Trail, and you obtain a fine vista of Ant Hill from here. But wait, there's more fun  
   stuff to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek, and Highland Park Campground is a brilliant campground nearby.
High temperatures at Gem Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 60's while overnight lows are regularly in the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Gem Lake tend to be in the 0's. Cloud Peak Dam has perfect water scenery and it's in the vicinity
 
               of Gem Lake, and going for a hike on the Angeline Trail is always a great adventure. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn Sheridan is a brilliant choice.
This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Tensleep Creek, and Elk Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bighorn Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Gem Lake you'll most likely meet some people from Sheridan, and a lake close by is Frying Pan Lake.
At Gem Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is generally April, that's the one that snows the most while February is regularly the driest month. Having a great time in the Bighorn Mountains is uncomplicated. Dry warm beds await you at Sheridan-Days Inn; there are great places to look at along the Penrose Park Trail.
