Beautiful Gem Lake has much to offer visitors. It's a good idea to take a look at Elk Creek, it's close to Gem Lake, and the Solitude Trail offers hiking at its best. Around Gem Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; April is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month is February. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Sheridan. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sheridan-Days Inn is a good site to spend a night or two; do take a hike

| | on the Penrose Park Trail. Gem Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Bighorn Mountains has to offer. Clear Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot in the vicinity of Gem Lake, and Gem Lake is not far at all from Sheridan. This lake is so wonderful. to spend more than a day at, Circle Park Campground is a pleasant local campground. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Gem Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 60's with night lows in the 30's. The cold days of the
wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Gem Lake. You could also have a look at Cloud Peak Reservoir since you're here at Gem Lake; it's close by, and Gem Lake is right by the Angeline
Trail. So many cool things close to Gem Lake, clearly fantastic. Not far from Gem Lake you acquire some pleasant water scenery at Cloud Peak Dam; if you've had enough of Gem Lake, Flatiron Lake is nearby. Whohoo, so many enjoyable
things in one place! The Bighorn Mountains is so good! If you came to camp Highland Park Campground is a nice site to do that, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a wonderful view of Ant Hill from Gem Lake.
