Gardner Lake is in the vicinity of Beartooth Pass which is unquestionably worth stopping at; there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Lewis and Clark Trail. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Buena Vista Campground while you're here at Gardner Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Red Lodge Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay
M-K Campground is a good spot to camp, and a fine nearby hotel is Yodeler Motel. Gardner Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. This is a magnificent area for people who like lakes. Black Stone Lake is a lake close by,
and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Red Lodge is a nice spot to spend a night or two. So much entertaining stuff in the Absaroka Range, just phenomenal. Lakes are perfect; Losekamp Lake is a lake that's in the neighborhood
of Gardner Lake, and Tibbs Butte can be seen from Gardner Lake. You can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River near Gardner Lake, and the Morrison Trail is a magnificent hiking trail close by.
