    Do stop by Gallatin Lake while you're in this part of Wyoming. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Yellowstone River offers some nice whitewater. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gallatin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Indian Creek Campground, and a pretty lake like Grizzly Lake is a good site to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Gallatin Lake that you need to camp here for a while,  
   LaDuke Spring Campground is a fine location for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Mulherin Creek.
Throughout the long summer days at Gallatin Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows at Gallatin Lake all through the winter usually sink into the 0's.                a splendid choice, and you'll discover a picturesque lake called Sportsman Lake. On a gorgeous day you obtain a vista of Bannock Peak from Gallatin Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Fawn Pass Trail.
Bighorn Pass is right next door to Gallatin Lake and is positively a glorious place to go to; the Bighorn Pass Trail offers hiking at its best. Around Gallatin Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So many fun things to do at Gallatin Lake, so little time. Gallatin Lake is right by the Mount Holmes Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs.
