Mulherin Creek is a delightful whitewater spot right next door to Gallatin Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Mammoth Hot Springs is a delightful spot to get some rest; why not camp at Indian Creek Campground since you're here at Gallatin Lake. High temperatures at Gallatin Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the       40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Gallatin Lake dip into the 0's. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Bighorn Pass Trail; Bighorn Pass is a wonderful place to visit. While you're here at Gallatin Lake you can take a hike along the Fawn Pass Trail, and you obtain a great view of Bannock Peak from here. Around Gallatin Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; of all the months                  in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Gallatin Lake. If you came for an overnight stay LaDuke Spring Campground is a splendid place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Yellowstone Park North Travelodge.
