It's always fun to stop by Lake Gadsby. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at The Narrows Campground is always a glorious experience, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Green River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Lake Gadsby. Hiking along the Jim Creek Trail is brilliant fun, and Lake Gadsby is right by the Porcupine Trail. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful.

| | stuff to do here in the Wind River Range, too good to be true. A fine location to camp here at Lake Gadsby is Whiskey Grove Campground, and do take a hike on the Lakeside Trail. The top of Battleship Mountain is easily made out from Lake Gadsby, and if you need a place to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a great choice. Lake Gadsby is pretty dried out ordinarily; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is the month with the least amount | |

All year is a good time in the Wind River Range if you go for the outdoors. A great place for whitewater paddling near Lake Gadsby is Boulder Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. The
warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lake Gadsby, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Lake Gadsby tend to be in the-10's.
