Frying Pan Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tensleep Creek, and do take a hike on the Angeline Trail. All through the warmest time of the year at Frying Pan Lake highs are generally in the 60's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 30's. Park Trail. There's so much to do here at Frying Pan Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Highland Park Campground is a fine place for that. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is plentiful here in the Bighorn Mountains. Since
you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Cloud Peak Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Solitude Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Circle Park Campground is a delightful place to do that. Lakes? Sure, Flatiron Lake is close at hand.
