     The beauty of Frying Pan Lake attracts many people from all around. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek offers some wonderful whitewater; if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Penrose Park Trail. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Tensleep Creek, and camping is available at Circle Park Campground. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 60's to Frying Pan  
   Lake, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Frying Pan Lake sink into the 0's.
Frying Pan Lake is a location that is rather arid frequently; during the month of April you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Frying Pan Lake,
 
               for example Cloud Peak Reservoir, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Solitude Trail. Frying Pan Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bighorn Mountains.
There's always Cloud Peak Dam to check out near Frying Pan Lake, and a good place to camp here at Frying Pan Lake is Highland Park Campground. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Bighorn Mountains. While you're here at Frying Pan Lake you can take a hike along the Angeline Trail. So many enjoyable things in the Bighorn Mountains, just striking. If you need a place to stay Sheridan-Days Inn is a pleasant choice; why not have a look at nearby Elk Creek while you're here at Frying Pan Lake.
