Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fryberger Reservoir; Tepee Trail is a glorious local trail; if you've had enough of Fryberger Reservoir, Bracket Number 3 Reservoir is close by. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Fryberger Dam in the neighborhood of Fryberger Reservoir. High temperatures at Fryberger Reservoir through the summertime are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter                  the highs are usually in the 30's with temperatures at Fryberger Reservoir dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
