This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tongue River. The warmest time of the year at Fryberger Reservoir arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the       wintertime temperatures at Fryberger Reservoir drop into the 0's. Cool Enterprises is a nice place to get some rest, and Fryberger Dam is a picturesque place, positively worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Dry Gulch is close to Fryberger Reservoir and is definitely a glorious location to pop by; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Roosevelt Trail.
