The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Frozen Lakes, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Frozen Lakes tend to be in the-10's. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Frozen Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Big Sandy Campground,       and there's nice hiking along the Dutch Joe Larsen Creek Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. A lake close by is Coon Lake, and the peak of East Temple Peak can be made out from Frozen Lakes. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Wind River Range. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge, and don't leave Frozen Lakes without first going for a hike along the Little Sandy Trail. At Frozen Lakes you                  don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Black Joe Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. There's so much to do here at Frozen Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Dickinson Creek Campground is a perfect location for that. Just can't get enough of Frozen Lakes.
