The slopes of Red Lodge Mountain       are so inviting nobody can resist, and Daphnia Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Buena Vista Campground is a splendid spot to do that, and since you're here, you could also go to gorgeous Hauser Lake. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Absaroka Range. If the weather is good here at Frozen Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lewis and Clark Trail,                  and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Red Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Absaroka Range. Near Frozen Lake you hit upon magnificent locations like Beartooth Pass, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. And that's not all you can do here at Frozen Lake. There's so much to do here at Frozen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Long Lake Campground is a fine place for that, and Quintuple Peaks is painless to spot from Frozen Lake. Frozen Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. High temperatures at Frozen Lake during the warm months are in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 30's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Frozen Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
